Electrical Construction Manager - Data Centre - Sines, Portugal Portugal, Sines €80k - €95k + allowances, & rotational package Data Centres Permanent Electrical Construction Manager Location: Sines, Portugal Sector: Hyperscale Data Centres | Mission Critical Construction Our client is a leading international main contractor specialising in the delivery of hyperscale data centres and mission-critical infrastructure across Europe. They are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Manager to oversee the on-site delivery of electrical works on a major hyperscale data centre project in Sines. Working closely with the Project Manager and MEP leadership team, you will be responsible for coordinating electrical installation activities, managing subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and in accordance with the highest quality standards through to commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities • Manage the day-to-day delivery of all electrical construction activities on site. • Coordinate electrical subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. • Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and quality standards. • Work closely with CSA, mechanical and commissioning teams to coordinate interfaces and resolve construction issues. • Monitor site progress, identify delays and implement recovery plans where required. • Ensure full compliance with health, safety and environmental procedures. • Review RAMS, method statements and installation quality prior to works commencing. • Chair subcontractor coordination meetings and provide regular progress reports to project leadership. • Support testing, commissioning and system energisation activities. • Manage snagging, quality inspections and final handover documentation. Requirements • Proven experience as an Electrical Construction Manager, Electrical Site Manager or Senior Electrical Supervisor on major construction projects. • Previous experience delivering data centres, mission-critical, pharmaceutical, industrial or large-scale MEP projects. • Strong understanding of LV/MV electrical systems, power distribution and building services installations. • Experience managing electrical subcontractors within fast-paced construction environments. • Good knowledge of construction sequencing, commissioning processes and project coordination. • Relevant electrical qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering/Building Services. • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills. • Full driving licence where required.
