Position Overview The Electric Drive Test Engineer will support lab testing of electric drive components and systems, with a focus on performance and durability testing. This is an opportunity to work in a rapidly growing electrification program, collaborating with cross-functional teams across design, controls, simulation, and facility design while building a strong foundation in motor and generator fundamentals. The engineer will own all aspects of a given test lab, working under the oversight of a team lead or senior engineer who will provide mentorship as the role develops. Typical Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop test plans Coordinate modifications to the device under test (DUT) Instrument and install the DUT Execute testing Analyze data and summarize results and conclusions Lead weekly update meetings and create presentations Document findings Troubleshoot issues with the test stand, DUT, controls, and related systems Work Environment This role is based in a lab testing environment, with time split approximately 30% at a desk and 70% in the lab running tests or performing DUT preparation.
