A nationally recognized construction and infrastructure organization is seeking an experienced EHS Manager – Construction Safety to support large-scale, complex build projects across multiple sites in the Columbus, OH area. This person will be tasked with leading safety strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving risk mitigation efforts in high-impact environments such as mission-critical facilities. The Role • Lead and enhance construction safety programs across multiple active project sites • Oversee and mentor site safety professionals to ensure consistent policy execution • Partner with project leadership, contractors, and field teams to embed safety into project planning and delivery • Conduct audits, site assessments, and incident investigations, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures • Track and report on key safety performance metrics, ensuring alignment with OSHA and regulatory standards The Candidate • 8–10 years of construction safety experience, including leadership responsibility • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and experience in complex construction environments • Proven ability to influence safety culture and collaborate across cross-functional teams • OSHA 30 certification required; STS-C or CHST (or willingness to obtain quickly) • Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience); CSP or similar certification preferred
