Looking for recently graduated Economists who were top of their class - Copenhagen Economics Looking for recently graduated Economists who were top of their class - Copenhagen Economics Careers Looking for recently graduated Economists who were top of their class Application deadline: 05/04/2022 Do you want to work with high-profile public and private clients, analysing and advising them on policy and regulation in one of Europe’s largest and most capable groups of economists? We are looking for newly graduated economists with excellent academic record and an interest in working in consultancy. The start date is June 2022. What do we offer you? You will be working on high-profile projects ranging from energy and climate, healthcare and life sciences, to financial sector economics. Examples of projects you could work on include analysis of how climate change impacts credit losses in the financial sector and assessing how to design a CO2 tax system that avoids carbon leakage, or how a change in the European regulation affects the availability of medicines for patients with rare diseases. You may not have specific competencies in these areas, but they pique your professional curiosity, and you want to learn how to apply economic theory and methods to these areas. We will develop you as a professional economist through formal training, teamwork, and inspiring discussions with experienced consultants. Your people manager will provide knowledgeable feedback and support to help you grow your competencies, advance your career, and eventually develop into a full-fledged consultant. You will join a dynamic team where we take great pride in both delivering outstanding work and having fun in and outside of the office. Most of the Policy colleagues are located in the Copenhagen office, but employment is possible in all our four offices including Stockholm, Helsinki, and Brussels. Who are you? • You have recently completed or will soon complete your master’s degree in economics from a reputable university. • You are the type who cannot help but seek out and take ownership of tasks, and you make sure they are followed through. Sometimes you even remind colleagues to do so. • You crunch numbers for breakfast and may have specialised in econometrics or economic modelling. Experience in Stata and R is an advantage. • You like to be challenged and see it as an opportunity to learn and develop • Excellent communication skills, including a high level of English proficiency. Other language proficiencies is an advantage. How do you apply?
