The Economics Department is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, and proactive student to join our team as a Work-Study Administrative & Research Assistant. This role provides hands-on experience supporting department operations through a variety of tasks involving design, data organization, research, and general administrative support.

Rate of Pay: $ 9.70/hr

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
• Create flyers and digital materials using Canva for department events and announcements
• Track inventory and organize supply data using Excel and Google Sheets
• Research vendors, obtain price quotes, and assist with purchase documentation
• Complete print jobs and distribute promotional materials across campus
• Provide general administrative support, including errands and special projects as needed
Qualifications:
• Familiarity with Canva, Excel, and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow through on tasks
• Reliable, professional, and punctual with strong communication skills
• Experience with Drupal or other content management systems (CMS) is a plus.
• Familiar with social media best practices and media content creation is a plus.
