Whitecap SEO is a leading Shopify SEO Expert since 2012. **Job Responsibilities** - Develop and implement strategies to improve the organic rankings and search traffic. - Perform keyword research based on persona, semantic, micro-moments, competitors, and trends. - Execute on-page optimization related to page titles, descriptions, canonicals, URLs, internal link structures, and SEO copy editing. - Perform technical audits and aid in SEO activities related to site migrations. - Evaluate link profiles and identify creative link-building opportunities. - Organize and participate in client presentations and decks, delivering account performance reporting, and providing insightful analysis/trends, recommendations, and opportunities to meet goals and KPIs. - Proactively manage client and partners' accounts across multi-platforms and channels **Ecommerce SEO** To get a better understanding of ecommerce seo and what we offer clients, discover how SEO and Ecommerce make the perfect pair in delivering more for ecommerce clients here. **Required Experience** - 2+ years of technical SEO experience and eagerness to learn. - Demonstrate experience with technical knowledge, on-page SEO, local SEO and link-building tactics. - Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and main SEO tools and dashboarding platform (Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Data Studio, Tableau, etc.) - Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems (Shopify, Magento, Webflow, etc.) - Understanding web development programs, such as HTML/CSS, Python, R, JavaScript, and relevant frameworks (considered an asset). - Experience researching, writing, publishing, and promoting blog content (considered an asset). - Previous experience with SEO, CRO, UX design, web development or copywriting. - Strong client relationship skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently by the established deadline. - Bilingual in English and French (considered an asset) **Your Mindset** - Agile: Flexible and able to work under pressure - Creative mindset: able to find ways to integrate SEO requirements seamlessly into on-page content - Communication skills: written and oral, be able to articulate the "reasoning" behind the recommendations to clients - Analytical: ability to make informed decisions based on data **Other PLUS Experience** - Agency experience - Shopify, Shopify Plus, Magento, or BigCommerce platform experience - Comfort & ease with client calls & communication - Agile / Scrum methodology knowledge - Ability to follow project plans & tasks assigned to each client to deliver the promised service each month - Enthusiastic about learning and researching - Experience working as part of a remote team **How To Apply** Email your resume to [email protected] with the subject line "Here's why I'm your next Ecommerce SEO Specialist"
