Perhaps you have some experience but would like to further this within a school that is able to support you? About the role We are looking for various teachers to work in a local SEND school in Trowbridge. The school can accommodate part-time or full-time teachers. There are a range of roles available so the most important thing is making sure they get the right fit for the school, the rest can be worked out in terms of days / hours. There are positions across Early Years and Primary. With classes of up to 10 children, you will be able to tailor your lessons how you see fit. You will have 2-4 Teaching Assistants supporting you in each class. This role is suitable for qualified and experienced teachers, or ECTs that are looking to start their career and have a strong interest in special needs (Autism in particular). About the school The school has excellent transport links and is easily accessible by public transport. There is also parking in the school for drivers. The school caters for children aged 4 to 19 years old with a range of special needs and learning disabilities. The school are extremely welcoming and will make you feel like part of the team from day 1. Requirements To be considered for the role of Early Years Teacher - SEND School you will: • To hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to process one with us) • Have previous teaching experience in a primary or early years setting • Be confident in your ability to teach a class • Be reliable, punctual and committed • Experience of supporting/teacher children with learning disabilities is an advantage Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults.
