Job details: Early Years and Childcare Development Officer Salary Range: £34,434 – £37,280Work Location: Oxford City Hours per week: 1 FTE (37 hrs per week)Contract type: PermanentClosing date: 24 August 2026Interview date: Provisional 31 August 2026 (TBC)Vetting requirements: This role is subject to a Criminal Records CheckAbout the RoleThis is an exciting time to be joining the Early Years and Childcare Sufficiency Team. This role will play an integral part in the team’s expansion of the school aged childcare programme. The successful candidate will be someone who is confident to deliver support and advice to headteachers, school governors and childcare providers. About youThe Successful applicant will be well organised, a good communicator and able to understand and articulate the essentials for running a sustainable childcare provision. Candidates must possess a solid grasp of the options available to schools wishing to expand or open new provision. They should be knowledgeable about employer responsibilities and able to direct providers to appropriate sources of expert advice.
