About This Role We're seeking an enthusiastic and caring individual to join our toddler room team as a classroom teacher at Woodmont Baptist Weekday Preschool. Our preschool serves children from four months to five years old and collaborates with families to provide a nurturing environment that promotes creative learning and respect. In this role, you'll foster a warm atmosphere, value play, and contribute to our Christian-based preschool education program. What You'll Do • Implement daily activities and assess their effectiveness in promoting child development. • Ensure the children's physical safety and well-being at all times. • Communicate regularly with parents through casual discussions and scheduled conferences. • Support the effective operation of our childcare center program. • Ensure compliance with center policies and state regulations. • Maintain a healthy and clean classroom environment, adhering to safety and hygiene standards. • Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and improve our program's quality. • Maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information about children, families, and staff. • Requirements • Must hold a High School Diploma. • Clear full background check and pass annual health screening. • At least 1 year of experience in early childhood education. • Demonstrate high energy and strong teamwork skills, ability to work well with staff, children, and parents. • Willingness to follow WBWP's philosophy and curriculum guidelines. • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to diverse situations. • Ability to obtain Infant Child CPR and First Aid Certification after employment. • Strong understanding of child development principles.
