Description
Early Childhood Coordinator Leading Preschool and Playland Coaches/volunteer Daymakers as they serve young families at Central and in our community. Supervising: (3) 2 Preschool Coaches, 1 Playland Coach Reports to: Kids Pastor/Director Work alongside: Central Kids Team (Elementary pastor & coordinator, Special Needs coordinator) Weekly Schedule: Must be available during Sunday and Wednesday services, and in office Monday. Will work in office Sunday-Thursday, and from home as needed. Special seasons may require flexibility (Christmas, Easter, Playland Spring Break) Education/Experience requirements: Flourishing faith and active Church engagement. Must have previous experience working with children as well as volunteer management; organizational skills and teaching experience are ideal, but not required Physical requirements: Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs. Responsibilities: Leadership • Set a tone of Character, Ownership, Servanthood, and Zeal • Research and refresh preschool ministry policy • Help preschool parents flourish in their parenting • Shepherd struggling students, families, and Daymakers • Design rite-of-passage services and events for preschool families • Recruit and lead Staff and Daymakers Preschool Ministry • Cast vision for Preschool Staff and volunteer Daymakers • Make Central Kids Preschool a venue kids beg their parents to bring them • Grow Sunday and Wednesday participation through a strong guest experience and personalized follow-up • Tailor curriculum to  Central Kids Preschool Ministry and utilize array of tools/media to communicate with families • Recruit and equip Central Church members who seek to plant pop-up gardens of faith in young hearts • Advocate for lost and hurting families who grace our doors • Cultivate Daymaker service rhythms and personal growth • Oversee classroom environment safety and resources • Establish growth goals and milestones for young faith • Graduate children excited for Elementary Ministry Playland Ministry • Maintain and lead Playland team • Represent Christ and Central Church to the communities Playland serves • Communicate mission and operation information to Staff and Daymakers • Work alongside Central Missions team to host school and community visits
