Location: Armagh (BT61 9AX)
Brook Street is partnering with a reputed Public Sector organisation in Armagh, and we're excited to offer an opportunity for an administrative professional to join a supportive team. If you enjoy varied office work, helping people, and keeping things running smoothly, this could be the role for you.
What you'll be doing:
• Provide administrative support across the section, using everyday IT such as typing, databases, spreadsheets, email, intranet and internet tools
• Support Education Authority officers and provide advice to customers, the public and other professionals on agreed aspects of the service
• Help collate factual data and statistical information from different sources to support the work of the section
• Prepare letters, minutes, notes and other clerical support for officers as required
• Deliver a strong customer service approach, including telephone and direct customer-facing support
What you'll bring:
• At least one year of demonstrable administrative/clerical experience in an office environment
• Confident, accurate working with common office IT, spreadsheets and databases
• A helpful, professional manner when advising and supporting others
• Clear written communication for preparing documents such as letters and minutes
• The ability to handle customer contact with care and confidence
Additional information:
• Full time , Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (37 hours/week)
• Hybrid working after fully trained
• Hourly rate: £13.83
• Assignment: ASAP until August, with potential extension
• Security level: Basic DBS
• Training : full training provided
• You'll need minimum five GCSE passes (A*-C) or equivalent (or higher)
• If you've been outside the UK for 6 months or longer in the last 3 years , an additional overseas police check will be required (candidate to provide)
