Description
We are looking for mid to entirety level Truck/Dump Truck Diver to work with our crews building bridges, dams, boat ramps, roads, and boardwalks throughout the State of WI. Work week is Monday through Friday afternoon.  $100.00 per day per diem for locations over 30 miles from Janke General Office in Athens WI.,  Monday through Thursday. We offer Company paid heath insurance and life insurance . We also provide disability,  dental, vision insurance. Along with a 401K matching percentage.   Room for advancement. The Truck Driver/ Dump Truck Diver is responsible for transporting materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites Roles and Responsibilities: • Transportation and Delivery: o Safely operate company trucks to transport construction materials, equipment, and tools between the yard and job sites. o Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight over 26,000 lbs o Ensure timely and accurate deliveries, adhering to project schedules and priorities. o Verify delivery loads against packing slips and ensure materials are in good condition. • Loading and Unloading: o Assist in loading and unloading trucks o Secure loads properly to prevent shifting, damage, or spillage during transit. • Equipment and Vehicle Maintenance: o Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. o Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to maintenance o Maintain cleanliness and functionality of assigned vehicles. • Yard Support: o Assist with inventory management, including organizing and stocking materials. o Assist in yard operations when able • Compliance and Safety: o Adhere to all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards while driving and performing duties. o Maintain accurate delivery logs and trip reports o Meet established production standards and work in accordance with company policies & Federal/State Laws
