Job Description
Dual study programme 2027: Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (B.Sc)*
3-year dual study programme in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence starting on 1 September 2027 at our Waldkirch site in cooperation with the Lörrach Cooperative State University.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
• Diverse insights and collaboration in various departments, including IT, Product Management and Development
• Field of activity in an interface function in the company with a view to handling, transforming and analysing data in order to drive digital transformation from a technical perspective
• Assignments in various areas such as business intelligence, information systems, data management and big data analyses and architectures
• The work includes determining the requirements for software solutions, developing concepts for software deployments and architectures as well as networked communication and information systems, support of information systems, which includes the selection and installation as well as maintenance, customisation and support of standard software.
• In addition to everyday tools such as MS Office programmes and SAP, you will learn object-oriented programming languages (e.g. Java and C++), scripting languages (e.g. Python, Lua) and the basics of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) as required
• Programme content: Artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, big data, data management, data mash, master data, natural language processing, project management, business process management, marketing, digital thinking
• Specialisation: Digital Production
WHAT YOU NEED:
• A-levels, subject-restricted university entrance qualification, university of applied sciences entrance qualification (plus passing the delta exam at the DHBW) or comparable training
• Strong interest in computer science, maths and business management topics
• Previous knowledge of computer science and business is an advantage
• Understanding of processes and the ability to analyse facts
• Enjoy data preparation and analyses and interdisciplinary topics
• Customer-orientated way of working
• Strong ability to work in a team
• Good command of English and openness to an international environment
• Good knowledge of German (language level C1), see admission requirements of the dual university

• 1st year of study: 1.401 €
• 2nd year of study: 1.497 €
• 3rd year of study: 1.654 €
