THE JOB:
It is the responsibility of the On Call Table Games Dealer to perform the act of dealing table games while providing excellent guest service . All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures.
THE STARTING RATE: $12.00 Per Hour + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
• Deal one or more Game Types proficiently; including Blackjack, Baccarat, Roulette, Craps, Specialty Games (Poker), and variations
• Protect, control, and verify the accuracy of fills, credits, openers/closers, and marker transactions; accurately exchange cash or markers for chips; collect losing bets, pays winning bets, and collect commission based on game dealt
• Communicate verbally with supervisors or Table Games Managers of unnatural or irregular play and disputes on the game
• Notify supervisor immediately of all mistakes or claims and makes resolution at their discretion
• Verbalize player instructions, card totals, results or any other information as required in the procedures of each game
• Maintain a helpful and courteous atmosphere on the game
• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries; resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management
• Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED required
• 6+ Months of prior relevant experience dealing multiple table games experience working in a similar resort setting required
