Clariness is looking for a DTP Artworker (f/md/) based in Cape Town. - Full-time; unlimited -
About the role:
As a DTP Artworker, you will play a key role in transforming approved creative concepts into accurate, production-ready print and digital materials. Working closely with Graphic Designers, Project Managers and cross-functional teams, you will ensure clinical trial materials and localized assets are technically accurate, brand-compliant, and delivered to the highest quality standards.
As a DTP Artworker, you would be responsible for:
Managing the technical execution, formatting, and preparation of print and digital assets, including clinical trial materials and copy-based content.
Ensuring all files meet production standards through detailed quality checks, preflight reviews, and technical validation before delivery.
Preparing print-ready artwork, including managing complex layouts, colour specifications, file structures, and production requirements.
Adapting established design templates and localized materials while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and brand integrity.
Maintaining accurate version control, file organization, and asset management within Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
Collaborating with Graphic Designers to preserve creative intent during production and with Project Managers to support timely project delivery.
Supporting ongoing improvements to workflows, templates, and asset libraries to improve efficiency across global teams.
We would like you to have:
2–4 years of professional experience in DTP, artwork production, desktop publishing, or a similar role within an agency, publishing, or corporate design environment.
Proven experience preparing multi-page documents, publications, and complex layouts for print and digital use.
Strong knowledge of commercial print requirements and technical artwork preparation.
Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop .
Working experience with Figma, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint .
Experience working with Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS) is advantageous.
Exceptional attention to detail, strong technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced international environment.
