Draughtsperson Location: Glasgow Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE) Type: Full-time, Permanent I'm currently recruiting for a well-established engineering company based in Glasgow and are looking to recruit an experienced Draughtsperson to join their growing design team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of engineering projects within a supportive and professional environment. The Role As a Draughtsperson, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and supporting the engineering team from concept through to manufacture and installation. Key responsibilities include: • Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings for engineering projects • Preparing fabrication and assembly drawings • Working closely with engineers, project managers, and production teams • Updating and revising drawings as required • Ensuring drawings comply with relevant standards and specifications Requirements • Proven experience in a draughting role within an engineering environment • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor or similar) • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical information • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team • Experience within [mechanical / structural / civil / building services – adjust as required] engineering would be advantageous What We Offer • Competitive salary up to £45,000 , depending on experience • Secure, permanent position • Opportunity to work on varied and interesting projects • Supportive team and opportunities for development • Based in Glasgow with [hybrid / office-based – if needed] working If you’re a skilled Draughtsperson looking for your next opportunity within a reputable engineering company, we’d love to hear from you.
