An opportunity has risen for a draughtsperson to join the Drawing Office. Purpose of this position: This position is ideal for draughtspersons who have a few years of experience with AutoCAD in multiple trades and who are looking to form part of a small and dynamic team. The successful candidate must be highly organised, able to work on own initiative and an effective communicator. Main duties & responsibilities include: To be involved in handovers to ensure smooth transition from as built drawings at project closure to updated Terminal / Airfield master drawings To verify ‘as fitted’ drawings To be active and assist in the preparation and finalization of technical, road work, architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, interior designs and detailed plans, drawings, illustrations, sketches and presentation drawings. To prepare drawings in a timely and accurate manner To perform site survey work To organise and maintain the drawing office libraries To attend design meetings with project and facility teams To manage the quantity surveying function along entire project lifecycle To analyse and understand architectural/engineering drawings and specifications Preparation of BOQs
