A prestigious Girls' School in Westminster seeks an enthusiastic and skilled Drama Teacher to join our thriving Performing Arts department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire creativity, build confidence, and develop students' understanding of theatre and performance. The Drama department has dedicated performance spaces, rehearsal studios, and technical equipment. About the Role: Deliver engaging and practical Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, covering acting techniques, script analysis, theatre history, and stagecraft. Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage improvisation, role-play, and collaborative performance. Assess student progress through practical performances, written work, and presentations, providing constructive feedback. Direct and produce school plays and theatrical performances. Contribute to the organization of drama clubs and extracurricular activities. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Drama or a related field. A strong knowledge of dramatic techniques, theatre history, and play texts. Experience in directing and producing theatre performances. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. A passion for inspiring girls through drama and fostering their creativity.
