FLINT is seeking a Drafter with design and construction experience for a permanent job in Airdrie, AB starting August 2026. In this position, you will enjoy a Monday to Friday work schedule, 8-hour workdays, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
This position does not include camp accommodations, living out allowance, or travel allowance. Therefore, it is best suited for local candidates ; however, those willing to travel or relocate at their own expense are also encouraged to apply.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Drafter in the design and construction of various projects, with a strong portfolio of relevant work in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Proven proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, CADworx, and SpoolFab/Acron.
• Familiar with detailed fabrication drawings for pressure vessels and nozzles, including welding details and 2D cross-sectional views
• Experience working within VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) workflows
• Strong knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering and/or architectural principles, and project specifications.
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and design tools.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all drawings and technical documentation.
• Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
• WHMIS
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Must have own reliable transportation to site.
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
