We support vessels, crews, and clients worldwide with compliant, high-quality medical services. As part of our expanding operations and compliance requirements, we are looking to identify DOT-certified Drug & Alcohol Test Collectors to support our testing needs across selected bases. Role Overview We are seeking qualified professionals who are DOT-certified drug and alcohol test collectors to conduct collections in accordance with DOT / 49 CFR Part 40 requirements. This role supports safety-sensitive operations and requires strict adherence to chain-of-custody and compliance standards. This is a freelance / on-call role , ideal for healthcare professionals or trained collectors already certified under DOT regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct DOT-compliant drug test collections (urine and/or oral fluid) Verify donor identity and follow DOT chain-of-custody procedures Ensure privacy, integrity, and tamper-proof collection processes Accurately complete DOT documentation and custody control forms Coordinate sample handling and dispatch to certified laboratories Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times Requirements Current DOT Drug Test Collector certification (49 CFR Part 40 compliant) Successful completion of DOT training and proficiency demonstration Certification valid for urine and/or oral fluid collections Strong attention to detail and compliance Ability to work independently and follow strict protocols Previous experience in occupational health, clinical settings, or safety-sensitive environments is an advantage Nice to Have Healthcare background (nurse, medical assistant, paramedic, etc.) Experience in maritime, offshore, aviation, or transportation sectors Availability for short-notice or on-call assignments What We Offer Flexible, freelance engagement Competitive per-collection remuneration Opportunity to work with an international medical services provider Ongoing collaboration opportunities within MHG’s medical operations
