Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor dogs during daycare play sessions to ensure safe and positive interactions Provide attentive care for boarded dogs, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed Maintain clean and sanitary kennel, play area, and facility environments through regular cleaning and disinfecting Assess dog behavior and temperament to ensure compatibility during group play Communicate daily updates and observations to pet owners and veterinary staff Assist with dog handling, bathing, and basic grooming as needed Follow established safety protocols and animal handling procedures at all times Requirements: Genuine love for dogs and experience working with or caring for animals Ability to read and respond to dog body language and behavior cues Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle dogs of all sizes and breeds Strong attention to detail and commitment to animal safety and well-being Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Previous experience in a kennel, veterinary, or pet care setting is a plus About Us: WagMore Animal Hospital LLC is a trusted and beloved animal care provider in the St. Charles, MO community, offering a full range of veterinary and pet care services under one roof including day play with an indoor splash pad and indoor wading pool for dogs, boarding, grooming, training, and veterinarian services.
