Stellenbeschreibung: Job Title: Divisional Risk and Control Specialist – Cash Management Corporate Title: Vice President Location: New York, NY Overview The Divisional Control Office within the Corporate Bank (CB) supports as the 1st line of the bank’s 3 Lines of Defense strategy and works on conceptualizing and overseeing the implementation of Risk & Control best practices in the Division. DCO’s core mandate is to support the CB business in identifying, managing and monitoring non-financial risk and to provide advice and toolkits to ensure consistency of controls. This position relates to the business aligned DCO responsibility for Cash Management. The Cash Management Business Control Office is responsible for supporting the business with implementation of and compliance with all aspects of the global non-financial risk framework and associated policies. The role works very closely with Operational Risk Management (ORM), Group Audit, Compliance, AFC, Legal and other infrastructure areas within CB and the Group. What We Offer You • A diverse and inclusive environment that embraces change, innovation, and collaboration • A hybrid working model, allowing for in-office / work from home flexibility, generous vacation, personal and volunteer days • Employee Resource Groups support an inclusive workplace for everyone and promote community engagement • Competitive compensation packages including health and wellbeing benefits, retirement savings plans, parental leave, and family building benefits • Educational resources, matching gift, and volunteer programs What You’ll Do • Oversee various business control processes – ensuring controls are adequately designed, evidenced and escalation protocols are consistently followed • Advise, follow-up on, support resolution of audit findings and self-identified issues (SIIs), lessons learned, etc. throughout the NFR lifecycle • Support the business in preparation/execution of internal/external audits and with regulatory enquiries (analysis e.g. of processes and systems, identification of control gaps, development of solutions, implementation, roll out of new controls or increase control effectiveness) • Drive and support the business with risk identification and assessment relative to risk appetite, also via Risk & Control Assessments, risk deep dives and scenario analysis • Prepare information for governance meetings to brief senior management and support decision making • Think strategically about the business, stay on top of market themes/trends Skills You’ll Need • Cash Management business knowledge and prior exposure to second- and third-line functions, such as Compliance, Anti-Financial Crime, Operations, Legal and Group Audit • Knowledge and understanding of US and global financial sector regulation in particular for Anti-Financial Crime matters for Payment Service Providers preferred • Detail oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills and the ability to review, synthesize and present information • To be a team player, work flexibility across different time zones and cultural aspects • Ability to interact with and influence key business and risk stakeholders (at all levels) Skills That Will Help You Excel • The ability to co-ordinate and drive change across multiple stakeholders and effectively liaise with all supporting functions • Confident to question the status quo business practices and existing control framework • Have a consistent sense of urgency around doing your best – day in and day out Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in New York City $125,000 - $222,500.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
