Description
UH Main is hiring a Director of Technology, License & Marketing. The role involves leading the marketing and licensing of the University of Hawaii's intellectual property portfolio, developing commercialization strategies, negotiating license agreements, and overseeing compliance and licensing staff to ensure effective operations within the Office of Technology Transfer and Innovation.
Highlights

• Direct daily operations of the licensing and compliance group within OTTI.

• Collaborate with OTTI directors and assist AVP in defining departmental workforce planning and priorities.
• Engage with industry partners, startups, investors, faculty, and administration to balance complex stakeholder needs.
• Require a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience; preferred 10+ years with 2-4 years in technology licensing and marketing.
• Educational background includes a 4-year degree or equivalent specialized training; MBA or JD with USPTO bar passage is a plus.
• Salary range: $127,300 to $203,700 annually.
