Description
Director of Sales, Central & Southern Europe  WEKA is transforming how organizations build, run, and scale AI and accelerated compute workflows with NeuralMesh™, our intelligent, adaptive mesh storage system. Unlike traditional data infrastructures, which become more fragile as compute environments grow and performance demands increase, NeuralMesh becomes faster, stronger, and more efficient as it scales, providing a flexible, adaptable foundation for enterprise and agentic AI innovation that maximizes GPU utilization, accelerates time to first token, and lowers the cost of innovation. WEKA is a growth-stage company backed by world-class venture capital investors and AI infrastructure industry leaders. Our technology, purpose-built for AI, has garnered over 140 patents and is trusted by more than 30% of Fortune 50 enterprises, as well as the world’s leading hyperscalers, neoclouds, and AI innovators. Our team is customer-obsessed and works accountably, boldly, and collaboratively to ensure their success. If we sound like your kind of people, join us! The Role As our Director of Sales, Central & Southern Europe, you will lead an elite team of Account Executives across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and Southern Europe (France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal), bringing WEKA’s revolutionary, high-scale AI infrastructure to enterprise companies. Reporting to the VP of Sales, EMEA, you’ll partner with Engineering, Marketing, and Demand Gen to dominate a region that is a critical growth engine for our global business. This is a rare, high-impact opportunity to steering a core European footprint. Because Europe is a paramount focus for WEKA's expansion, we require a leader with a proven track record of successfully running complex, multi-country regions. You must possess a deep, nuanced understanding of the distinct markets, corporate landscapes, and cultural dynamics across Central and Southern Europe. Additionally, this is a foundational "build" role requiring a leader who excels at identifying, recruiting, and onboarding elite talent while instilling a high-growth, high-performing sales culture from day one. Who you are: A Proven Builder & Culture Creator: You thrive in growth environments, possessing a demonstrable ability to cultivate a winning, high-performing sales culture rooted in collaboration, accountability, and excellence. An Inspiring Leader with a Positive Mindset: You bring an infectious, positive attitude to the team. You lead by example, possessing a strong work ethic and the resilience required to navigate a fast-paced market. A Master of Cadence & Execution: You easily take control of the territory, establishing a rigorous operational cadence and driving consistent accountability across your organization. A Relationship First Leader: You have a natural ability to build deep, trusted relationships internally with your team, and externally with strategic partners and key enterprise customers. A Front-line Champion: A front-line leader who loves navigating complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles. An Operational Expert: A MEDDPIC expert with tight operational command over your business and pipeline. An Ecosystem Builder: Someone who knows how to leverage partners to land new logos. A People-First Manager: Dedicated to coaching AEs to consistently smash their quotas. As a Director of Sales you’ll need to: Demonstrate a deep understanding of WEKA and the value we deliver to our customers. Drive team expansion by actively identifying, recruiting, hiring, and training top-tier, high-performing sales talent. Foster and maintain a resilient, positive team culture focused on high performance and continuous improvement. Establish and maintain a strong operational cadence, taking control of territory performance, metrics, and pipeline velocity. Actively lead, coach, and participate in pipeline generation
