Description
We are partnering with a privately held services business to find a Director of Safety and Compliance. The company supports commercial and institutional clients through a large frontline workforce and is seeking a leader who can strengthen safety practices, compliance standards, and risk controls. This role is not limited to policy administration. It requires a practical leader who can work closely with field teams, managers, clients, and senior leadership to embed consistent standards across the business. The Director of Safety and Compliance will oversee safety programs, regulatory compliance, incident review, training standards, and risk reduction initiatives across multiple service locations. Key Responsibilities Lead safety and compliance programs across multiple client sites and service teams Develop, implement, and monitor policies, procedures, and operational standards Review incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions Partner with field leadership to improve safety awareness and compliance consistency Support client audits, internal reviews, and regulatory documentation requirements Track compliance trends and provide regular reporting to senior leadership Coordinate training initiatives related to safety, conduct, reporting, and service standards Work cross-functionally with HR, operations, and client-facing teams to reduce risk Requirements Required Qualifications Proven experience leading safety, compliance, risk, or quality programs in a service-based environment Strong understanding of frontline workforce environments and multi-site operations Experience developing policies, procedures, training, and corrective action processes Ability to investigate incidents and translate findings into practical improvements Strong communication skills with the ability to influence field and senior leadership Experience working with client requirements, audits, documentation, and reporting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Background in security services, facilities services, transportation, logistics, or a related industry Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Business, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, or a related field Relevant safety, compliance, or risk certification Experience supporting a company through growth, standardization, or increased client audit requirements Benefits Base salary: $100,000 to $120,000 depending on experience Performance bonus: up to 15% based on individual and company performance 401(k) Healthcare coverage Paid time off Partially paid parental leave Professional development support Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate Keller is a recruitment agency that provides services to clients ranging from startups and non profits to multinational corporations.
