Description
About Gen: Gen is a global company dedicated to powering Digital Freedom through its trusted consumer brands including Norton, Avast, LifeLock, MoneyLion and more. Our combined heritage is rooted in financial empowerment and cyber safety for the first digital generations, and today we deliver award-winning cybersecurity, online privacy, identity protection and financial wellness solutions to nearly 500 million users in more than 150 countries. Together, we share a collective passion and vision to protect consumers and help them grow, manage and secure their digital and financial lives. We’re always looking for smart, fearless and high-impact talent who see AI as a teammate – leveraging it to move faster and deliver meaningful results. When you’re part of Gen, you’ll have the flexibility, tools and support to do your best work and grow your career – from flexible working options and time off to competitive pay, benefits and well-being programs. At Gen, we are scrappy and relentlessly customer driven. We create room for healthy debate, experimentation and continuous learning, and we seek out people with different experiences, identities and ideas to join our team. You’ll work with people who back each other, respect each other and understand that our differences are a competitive advantage. If this sounds like you, we’d love you to be part of Gen. About the Role: Gen is hiring a Director of Product Management, Special Projects to own a portfolio of high-stakes, net-new product initiatives — reporting directly to the Global Head of Financial Wellness Technology. This is a senior product leadership role built for someone who thrives at the frontier of what's possible. Your primary work is leading complex 0→1 initiatives end-to-end: owning the roadmap, driving execution, partnering with Engineering and Design, and shipping. You are not an advisor or a strategist sitting outside the work — you are a product manager who carries full accountability for outcomes. The initiatives you'll own are technically deep, cross-functional, and high-consequence, requiring you to move comfortably from partner negotiation to product spec to launch readiness. Beyond your own portfolio, you'll also be expected to raise the bar on how the product organization works. That means finding better ways to run product — sharper meetings, faster signal on what's shipping and how it's performing, smarter use of AI throughout the product development lifecycle — doing it yourself first, and then helping spread those practices across the team. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, Finance, and external partners — and you will be a key thought partner on where product is going and how we get there. MoneyLion, now part of Gen, is a leading financial marketplace and consumer finance platform. We power millions of consumer financial decisions across mobile, web, and enterprise surfaces. The product organization is at the center of our next phase of growth — building new financial infrastructure, exploring new geographies, and reimagining what a consumer fintech platform can do. Key Responsibilities: - Own a portfolio of net-new product initiatives end-to-end — from problem definition and roadmap through execution, launch, and iteration. You carry the product, not just the strategy. - Drive 0→1 product development on complex, cross-functional initiatives: write the specs, align the teams, make the tradeoffs, and ship. - Operate fluently in fintech's technical complexity: payments infrastructure, financial rails, compliance considerations, and the operational nuance of building in regulated environments. - Interface directly with external partners — financial institutions, fintech infrastructure providers, distribution partners — from first conversation through product integration and launch. - Define product vision for your initiatives, grounding ambitious thinking in technical feas
