Remote A leading enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Director of Product to establish and lead a modern data governance function focused on governance, privacy, risk, and AI oversight across a complex regulated environment. This leadership role will be responsible for building and scaling a data governance operating model, implementing enterprise governance controls, and partnering across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Security, Engineering, and Product teams to ensure data is managed as a trusted strategic asset. Success in this role will be measured through governance maturity, adoption of governed data assets, reduction of data risk exposure, and the effectiveness of enterprise controls and monitoring. Key Responsibilities • Establish and lead the organization’s Data Governance Office, including governance frameworks and stewardship models • Define and execute the enterprise data governance roadmap across data discovery, access governance and AI governance • Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Security teams to implement governance policies and automated controls • Operationalize governance frameworks across data quality, metadata, privacy, security, and master data management • Embed governance controls throughout the data lifecycle, including analytics, AI/ML, and enterprise systems Requirements • 10+ years of experience across product management, data governance, data management, or related leadership functions • Experience leading governance, privacy, or enterprise data programs within regulated environments • Proven success establishing or significantly maturing enterprise data governance capabilities What You Get • Opportunity to shape enterprise wide governance and AI strategy • Executive visibility and strategic ownership • High impact leadership
