Description
Our client is seeking a Director of Dealer Network Development to strengthen and expand its dealer and channel partner network within the building equipment, construction equipment, and industrial equipment sectors. This role will focus on dealer performance, market coverage, relationship management, and growth planning. The ideal candidate has experience working with dealers, distributors, contractors, or equipment channel partners. This person should understand how to build productive partnerships, improve market reach, and support business growth through a strong external network. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage dealer relationships across assigned markets. Identify opportunities to expand market coverage through new dealers or strategic channel partners. Monitor dealer performance, customer satisfaction, product support, and revenue contribution. Work with internal sales, service, and operations teams to support dealer success. Assist with onboarding, training, and performance expectations for dealer partners. Analyze market gaps, competitor activity, and regional growth opportunities. Build strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and equipment partners. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in dealer development, channel management, equipment sales, distribution, or related leadership roles. Background in construction equipment, industrial equipment, building equipment, heavy machinery, or similar industries preferred. Strong relationship-building skills with external partners and internal teams. Experience reviewing sales performance, market coverage, and partner development plans. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed to meet dealers, partners, and customers. Experience with CRM systems and business reporting tools preferred.
