Description
Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Cybersecurity for our client to lead cybersecurity initiatives and ensure the safety and integrity of information systems. The successful candidate will develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy, oversee the cybersecurity team, and collaborate with other departments to identify and address security vulnerabilities. The Director of Cybersecurity will play a crucial role in protecting the organization from cyber threats and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Responsibilities Develop and implement an enterprise-wide cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives Oversee the cybersecurity team, providing guidance, support, and professional development Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential threats and weaknesses Establish and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization Monitor and respond to security breaches and incidents, ensuring appropriate incident response plans are in place Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices Conduct regular training and awareness programs to enhance cybersecurity awareness within the organization Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, technologies, and trends Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master's preferred) Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on leadership roles Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) Proven experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity programs Excellent knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies Strong leadership and team management skills Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are preferred Benefits Chan Chee Meng EA 07C3069 R1110620
