We're building the first truly unified platform for all travel needs—leveraging the best of human expertise and technology to transform how people plan and book travel.   About The Role Fora is hiring a Director of Consumer Insights to build our market intelligence and consumer research function from the ground up. This is a highly strategic role responsible for helping to create the processes, infrastructure, and systems that enable better decision-making across the company. Reporting into the Marketing organization, you will establish how research is planned, executed, shared, and applied across both marketing, product, and commercial initiatives. As our first dedicated market research leader, this role will define the operating model for research at Fora while partnering closely with leaders across Product, Marketing, Business Development, Analytics, and executive leadership. The Director of Market Research will help answer our biggest business questions through a thoughtful mix of qualitative and quantitative research, ensuring customer insights are accessible, actionable, and embedded in how we build and grow. This is a unique opportunity to shape a foundational capability at a company entering its next stage of growth. Key Responsibilities Build and lead Fora's market research function, establishing the strategy, processes, and standards that enable high quality consumer and market insights across the organization. Develop and own the research intake, prioritization, execution, and communication framework, ensuring research efforts align with company priorities and are consistently actionable. Lead research initiatives across the company, including consumer segmentation, brand and product positioning, brand tracking, competitive intelligence, creative testing, and other strategic studies. Design and execute rigorous qualitative and quantitative research programs, leveraging the appropriate methodologies to answer critical business questions. Create and maintain a centralized, searchable repository for research findings, making insights easily accessible and useful across the organization. Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Business Development, Analytics, and executive stakeholders to develop a cross functional research roadmap and influence strategic decision making. Establish best practices for research design, including discussion guides, surveys, methodology selection, vendor management, and quality standards. Evaluate, select, and manage external research partners to ensure
