Committed to excellence, the firm continues to invest in best-in-class business development and client development operations and is seeking a Director of Communications to join its global BD and marketing team.
Please note, this role can be based in any of the following locations: New York, Washington, D.C., Boston, Atlanta, or Miami.
The Role
The Director will work closely with firm leadership and stakeholders to shape and deliver an integrated communications strategy spanning:
• PR & Media Relations – Leading proactive press and reputation management, including crisis communications, and effectively managing an external PR and media relations agency
• Editorial & Content – Setting the editorial agenda and overseeing thought leadership, executive communications, and digital storytelling
• Digital & Campaigns – Enhancing the firm’s digital presence, guiding SEO and performance measurement, and delivering impactful integrated campaigns
• Internal Communications – Strengthening employee engagement and alignment with the firm’s vision and culture
• Advisory & Measurement – Acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders while defining KPIs to track communications effectiveness
Candidate Profile
• Extensive experience in communications, ideally within professional services and with a focus on litigation and arbitration
• Proven leadership across reputation management, brand strategy and crisis communications
• Strong editorial judgment and digital expertise, with experience modernising marketing functions
• Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
• Adept at navigating sensitive, high-profile matters
• Experience building and managing high-performing teams
