This role blends the clinical supervision responsibilities of a traditional Clinical Director with operational accountability for staffing, compliance, and program performance across multiple Maryland locations. The ideal candidate is a Board-approved clinical supervisor with a demonstrated ability to manage cross-site teams, ensure COMAR and HIPAA compliance, and translate clinical vision into consistent, measurable operational execution. Key Responsibilities Clinical Leadership & Supervision • Provide full-range clinical supervision (individual and group) to assigned therapists and interns. • Review therapist notes, treatment plans, and clinical documentation for compliance with COMAR and HIPAA regulations. • Develop, plan, and implement strategies for clinical program continuation and growth across all sites. • Identify and implement evidence-based practices; provide clinical training to staff and interns. • Serve as a Board-approved LCPC/LCSW-C supervisor for clinicians pursuing full licensure. Operations & Multi-Site Management • Oversee daily clinical operations across Baltimore, Waldorf, and Landover locations, ensuring consistent quality of care and adherence to agency policy. • Partner with HR and site leadership on staffing plans, caseload distribution, and workflow standardization across locations. • Monitor key operational metrics (utilization, documentation timeliness, caseload balance, client retention) and report findings to the Co-CEOs. • Coordinate periodic program reviews for compliance with COMAR, CARF accreditation standards, corporate policy, and employment contracts. • Support budget input and resource planning for the clinical department in collaboration with executive leadership. • Organize and lead clinical training sessions, staff meetings, and interdisciplinary coordination across sites. People Leadership • Provide personnel and clinical supervision to clinical staff; foster a culture aligned with K&I's mission and values. • Collaborate with other Clinical Supervisors and Associate Directors on cross-site initiatives. • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of clinical staff in partnership with HR. Qualifications • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field (Required). • Active Maryland licensure as LCPC, LCSW-C, or LPC (Required); Board-approved supervisor status strongly preferred. • 3+ years of supervisory experience; 3+ years of leadership/program management experience (Preferred). • Prior experience in a high-volume outpatient practice, ideally across multiple sites. • Strong working knowledge of Maryland behavioral health law, COMAR regulations, and HIPAA requirements. • Demonstrated ability to generate and sustain revenue for clinical services. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and clinical/EHR databases. • Ability to work flexible hours and travel between Baltimore, Waldorf, and Landover as needed. • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across a multicultural, community-based organization. Company Values • Growth — We are always improving and never complacent; we reflect on and learn from our mistakes. • Persistent — We are relentless, creatively pushing the limits of what is possible. • Quality First — We choose quality over speed because we care deeply about the people we serve. • Sincerity — We embrace difficult conversations and build trust through transparency. Benefits • Health insurance (medical, dental, vision) with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield. • Paid time off. • 401(k) with 3% matching after one year of employment. • $1,000 annual CEU allowance after one year of employment.
