Revolution Medicines is a late-stage clinical oncology company developing novel targeted therapies for patients with RAS-addicted cancers. The company’s R&D pipeline comprises RAS(ON) inhibitors designed to suppress diverse oncogenic variants of RAS proteins. The company’s RAS(ON) inhibitors daraxonrasib (RMC-6236), a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor; elironrasib (RMC-6291), a RAS(ON) G12C-selective inhibitor; zoldonrasib (RMC-9805), a RAS(ON) G12D-selective inhibitor; and RMC-5127, a RAS(ON) G12V-selective inhibitor, are currently in clinical development. As we continue to grow, Revolution Medicines is seeking a Director, Medical Content and Training, Europe, to lead the development, implementation, and execution of medical and scientific content and training strategies for the European Medical Affairs teams.
This role will partner closely with the Global Medical Content and Training team to ensure that Field Medical Advisors, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and other Medical Affairs functions across Europe are equipped with timely, rigorous medical resources and have the scientific depth, disease-state knowledge, and engagement skills necessary to support external interactions with the medical and scientific community.
Reporting to the VP, Medical Affairs, Europe, this individual will also play a critical role in preparing the European Medical team for product launches across the region in oncology, supporting field excellence, and ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and materials to communicate scientific data effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Medical Affairs Training Strategy & Execution for the European Region.
Develop and execute a comprehensive strategically aligned Medical Affairs training roadmap to ensure scientific fluency across across the European region.
Lead the design and implementation of high-impact scientific training and field excellence programs for new hires and ongoing professional development for MSLs and other Medical Affairs functions.
Leverage global training resources to prepare training curricula to enhance therapeutic area expertise, scientific knowledge, external engagement skills, and competitive insights for European teams.
Organize scientific deep dives, journal clubs, education forums, and training workshops to maintain a high level of scientific competency and field excellence within Medical Affairs.
Ensure training programs are adaptable to different levels of scientific expertise within the team and align with product lifecycle milestones.
Implement training assessments to measure the effectiveness of scientific learning and identify areas for continuous improvement.
ldentifies, evaluates and manages vendors to support training and operational needs.
Documents and maintain proper records of training initiatives.
Development of Scientific & Medical Content for Internal & External Use
Oversee the regionalization and/or creation of Global scientific materials to support external engagements, including MSL slide decks, infographics, multimedia and other scientific-exchange resources for utilization across the European region.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Medical Strategy, Medical Communications, Clinical Development, Regulatory, Commercial, Legal, Compliance) to ensure medical content is aligned with company strategy and meets regulatory and legal requirements.
Oncology Launch Readiness & Cross-Functional Alignment
Partner with Medical Affairs leadership to develop a structured pre-launch training plan, ensuring the team is scientifically prepared to support product launch within Europe.
Work closely with Field Medical/MSL
