Role Summary The Director, Investment Data & Analytics is responsible for the stewardship of NLG Capital's investment data ecosystem end-to-end, from investment accounting system inputs through the firm's internal data architecture and classification framework to the investment data warehouse and the reporting and analytics it supports. The role owns the integrity, consistency, and governance of investment data across its full lifecycle and serves as the primary business-side partner to IT in the design, enhancement, and operation of the investment data warehouse. This is a hands-on leadership role for a practitioner who understands both the data infrastructure and the business destination, including feeds, ETL, reconciliation, exception management, ALM, investment committee and Board reporting, asset-class reporting, capital and rating agency deliverables. The ideal candidate brings strong insurance investment data experience, sound judgment, technical fluency, and the ability to translate effectively among investment professionals, accountants, and IT engineers. The role also champions a data-first culture and continuous improvement across the investment division. This position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you will be in the office four (4) days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.
