If you would like more information about how your data is processed, please contact us.We are seeking an accomplished and results-driven Director - Institutional & HNI Sales to lead strategic business development initiatives focused on expanding our institutional and high-net-worth investor base. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mutual fund distribution, institutional sales, and relationship management with HNI/UHNI clients, along with a strong understanding of financial markets and investment products.In this leadership role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building long-term partnerships with institutional investors, family offices, corporate treasuries, wealth managers, and HNI clients, while leading a high-performing sales team. You will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, developing market strategies, and strengthening the organizations presence within the investment ecosystem.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to acquire and retain institutional investors and HNI/UHNI clientsDrive business growth through the distribution of mutual funds and other investment solutionsBuild and maintain relationships with banks, family offices, corporate treasuries, wealth management firms, distributors, and financial intermediariesManage a portfolio of key institutional and HNI accounts while ensuring exceptional client servicingIdentify new market opportunities and formulate strategies to increase assets under management (AUM) and revenueLead negotiations, investment discussions, and client presentations with senior stakeholdersCollaborate with product, investment, compliance, and operations teams to deliver seamless client experiencesMonitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments affecting the mutual fund and wealth management industryLead, mentor, and develop the sales team by setting clear performance objectives and driving a high-performance culturePrepare business forecasts, sales reports, and strategic growth plans for senior leadershipEnsure compliance with all applicable regulatory and internal governance standardsMust-Have SkillsStrong experience in HNI and UHNI Relationship ManagementProven expertise in Institutional SalesDeep understanding of Mutual Funds and investment productsStrong business development and client acquisition capabilitiesExcellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skillsKnowledge of capital markets, wealth management, and investment advisoryStrong negotiation, presentation, and communication skillsExperience managing large investment portfolios and strategic client relationshipsLeadership experience with the ability to build and manage high-performing sales teamsStrong analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking abilitiesPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or a related disciplineMBA in Finance, Marketing, or equivalent qualification is preferredNISM, AMFI, or other relevant financial market certifications will be an added advantageWhat Were Looking ForThe ideal candidate is a proactive sales leader with an established network across institutional investors and HNI clients.
