Qiddiya Investment Company is at the forefront of entertainment and cultural development in Saudi Arabia, and we are looking for a highly skilled Director - Infrastructure Planning to join our team. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for leading the planning and development of infrastructure initiatives that support the ambitious vision of Qiddiya. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that our infrastructure aligns with the overall master plan and meets the needs of a diverse range of stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead the infrastructure planning efforts, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s long-term vision and master development plan. Coordinate with various departments, including engineering, architecture, and environmental teams, to develop comprehensive planning strategies for infrastructure development. Analyze and evaluate existing infrastructure frameworks and identify areas for improvement and expansion. Engage with government authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to secure necessary approvals and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop detailed project proposals, including timelines, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure effective project delivery. Monitor and report on planning progress, presenting insights and adjustments to senior management as necessary. Foster collaborative relationships with external agencies and contractors to facilitate successful infrastructure project execution. Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to support strategic decision-making related to infrastructure investments. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred. Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in infrastructure planning or related disciplines, with a significant background in large-scale projects. In-depth knowledge of infrastructure design and planning principles, as well as local regulations and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders effectively. Proficient in planning software and tools associated with infrastructure development. Professional certifications in project management or planning are highly regarded.
