Title: Director of Financial Planning & Analysis
Position Summary
The Director of Financial Planning & Analysis will lead FP&A activities for the EdgeConneX and AdaniConneX joint venture in India, supporting one of the fastest-growing data center platforms in the region. This role will be based in Ahmedabad and will report to the SVP of FP&A for EdgeConneX.
The Director will serve as a key finance partner to the India leadership team, EdgeConneX corporate finance, AdaniConneX stakeholders, development, construction, operations, commercial, and investment teams. The role will be responsible for financial planning, forecasting, management reporting, business analysis, capital planning, performance tracking, and strategic decision support across a rapidly scaling hyperscale data center portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning, Forecasting & Reporting
Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, and rolling forecast processes for the India joint venture, ensuring alignment with EdgeConneX global FP&A standards and local business priorities.
Develop and maintain detailed financial models covering revenue, operating expenses, EBITDA, cash flow, capital expenditures, project-level returns, debt service, and equity requirements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for EdgeConneX leadership, AdaniConneX stakeholders, the joint venture leadership team, and board-level review.
Analyze actual performance against budget, forecast, prior periods, and investment case assumptions, identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
Establish and maintain financial KPIs and dashboards for the India business, including utilization, contracted capacity, revenue backlog, cost performance, project returns, power costs, operating margins, and capital deployment.
Strategic Business Partnering
Serve as the primary FP&A partner for the India joint venture leadership team, providing financial insight to support strategic, commercial, operational, and investment decisions.
Partner with development, construction, commercial, operations, procurement, tax, treasury, accounting, and legal teams to support data center growth initiatives across India.
Support business cases for new data center developments, expansions, customer deployments, land acquisitions, power infrastructure investments, and major commercial contracts.
Provide financial analysis for customer pricing, lease economics, contract structures, power pass-through mechanisms, inflation escalation, and long-term profitability.
Translate complex financial information into clear, actionable insights for senior executives and non-finance stakeholders.
Capital Planning & Project Economics
Lead financial planning and analysis for significant capital investment programs across the India data center portfolio.
