What You'll Do BCG manages a global real estate portfolio of more than four million square feet across over 90 cities. As our business grows, diversifies, and continues to shape the workplace of the future, reliable data and scalable platforms are essential to making informed portfolio, investment, and workplace decisions. As Global Real Estate Data Strategy & Platforms Senior Manager, you will lead the definition of the enterprise data strategy for BCG’s Global Real Estate function guided by the data vision of the Portfolio Insight & Governance Senior Director and the broader functional leadership team. You will own the development of the strategic framework with the support of other leaders in the team and develop the governance, platforms, and operating model required to make data a trusted strategic asset. Working with senior leaders across Global Real Estate and the wider enterprise, you will contribute to shaping investment priorities, influence major technology decisions, and ensure that portfolio, workplace, lease, and financial information supports measurable business outcomes. This is a key transformation role combining enterprise strategy with hands-on execution. You will bring together teams, processes, vendors, and technology to build a sustainable foundation for insight-led real estate management. You will also set the direction for how artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics can improve decision-making, increase operational effectiveness, and unlock financial and human-capital value. In this role, you will: • Own and/or facilitate defining and communicating Global Real Estate’s data, platforms, and operations strategy, aligned with enterprise priorities and governance standards. • Establish the target operating model for data ownership, accountability, stewardship, and decision rights across regions, workstreams, and external partners. • Play a key role in setting the vision and roadmap for artificial intelligence, automation, and advanced analytics across Global Real Estate workflows. • Build and sponsor investment cases for data, platforms, and artificial intelligence initiatives, linking funding decisions to measurable returns and business outcomes. • Coordinate the implementation of major data and technology investments, ensuring adoption, operational readiness, and sustained value delivery. • Manage and coordinate a portfolio of strategic initiatives, resolving cross-functional dependencies and ensuring delivery against agreed outcomes, milestones, and investment commitments. • Define enterprise data standards, business definitions, controls, and key performance indicators across portfolio, lease, occupancy, workplace, and financial systems. • Improve the quality, accessibility, integration, and scalability of Global Real Estate data through clear technology roadmaps and platform decisions. • Partner with Finance, IT, Procurement, Workplace Experience, Digital Product teams, and other enterprise functions to align data structures and identify automation opportunities. • Provide Global Real Estate leadership with clear insights and executive-level storytelling on portfolio performance, investment choices, operational risks, and emerging opportunities • Build organizational capability by developing data leadership, contributing to strengthening team expertise, and embedding consistent ways of working across the global function. • Foster a culture in which data is routinely used to frame strategic questions, challenge assumptions, and improve real estate and workplace outcomes. What You'll Bring • A bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, real estate, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred. • 7–10 years of experience in data strategy, governance, platforms, or related fields within a corporate or consulting environment. • Experience leading or measurably contributing to shaping enterprise data strategy and translating it into an executable operating model. • Deep expertise in data governance, stewardship, architecture, quality standards, and performance management. • Experience coordinating complex, global transformation programs involving multiple functions, regions, systems, and external partners. • A record of building investment cases and supporting senior leadership alignment for technology, data, or artificial intelligence initiatives. • Strong commercial discernment and the ability to connect data investments to financial, operational, and workforce outcomes. • Experience defining product or platform roadmaps, overseeing implementation, and driving adoption at scale. • The ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations for senior leaders and governance forums. • Strong communication skills, including the ability to challenge constructively and build alignment across a matrixed organization. • Experience managing high-performing teams in a global environment. • Fluency in English; additional languages are valued. Who You'll Work With You will report to the GRE Portfolio Insight & Governance Senior Director You will work closely with the GRE Leadership Team, Global Workplace Technology, Digital Product teams, Workplace Experience leaders, regional project delivery teams, and relevant Centers of Excellence. You will also partner with BCG’s Data Strategy & Governance leadership and senior colleagues across Finance, IT, Procurement, and other enterprise functions. Through these relationships, you will bring together strategic, operational, and technical perspectives to support clear prioritization and deliver consistent outcomes across BCG’s global real estate portfolio.
