Responsibilities • Lead enterprise-wide data and AI governance and first-line assurance activities, ensuring consistent oversight and continuous improvement • Conduct targeted assurance reviews across business functions and high-risk data/AI initiatives to assess compliance with internal policies and external regulations • Develop, track, and report on governance, risk, control, and assurance metrics; design dashboards to monitor effectiveness and compliance posture • Chair governance forums, advisory boards, and working groups to align data and AI initiatives with organizational goals and risk appetite • Oversee the development, maintenance, and communication of data and AI governance policies, standards, and procedures • Evaluate governance processes and drive remediation and improvement initiatives where gaps are identified • Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data leaders, technology, legal, compliance, audit, and risk teams • Monitor evolving data and AI regulatory requirements (e.g., global data protection and AI frameworks) and ensure ongoing compliance • Support the design and delivery of governance training and awareness programs across the organization • Contribute to leadership direction on responsible data and AI governance and its role in enabling business value
