Position Summary: The Director - Commercial - Systems & Rolling Stock at Qiddiya Investment Company will spearhead the commercial management and strategic oversight of systems and rolling stock procurement, contracts, and reporting. This role is essential in supporting the successful delivery of transportation and infrastructure projects by ensuring effective commercial governance, risk management, and financial performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead commercial activities related to systems and rolling stock, including contract negotiation, procurement, and vendor management. Develop and implement commercial strategies to optimize cost efficiency and value for money. Oversee financial reporting and commercial analysis specifically for systems and rolling stock projects. Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to ensure alignment of commercial objectives with project milestones and budgets. Manage risk through proactive identification, mitigation strategies, and contract compliance monitoring. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies related to commercial management. Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team focusing on systems and rolling stock disciplines. Engage with suppliers, contractors, and external stakeholders to build strategic partnerships and ensure successful project delivery. Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes, tools, and reporting mechanisms. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Over 12 years of progressive experience in commercial management, preferably in transportation, rolling stock, or systems integration projects. Proven expertise in contract negotiation, procurement processes, and commercial governance. Strong knowledge of financial planning, cost control, and risk management. Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or transportation projects, ideally within the Middle East region. Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities. Proficiency in commercial and financial software tools relevant to project management and reporting. Ability to operate effectively in a complex and matrixed environment.
