In order to   address the most critical needs of our clients, RSM US LLP established the   Integrated Cloud   Consulting ( IC ) practice ,   comprised   of more than   300   professionals dedicated to serving the   cloud and infrastructure platform   needs of our clients. This group includes experienced consultants   located   throughout the   globe . We serve a diverse client base within a variety of   industries and   are focused on meeting our clients where they need us most across a variety of domains   - h elping them   realize their stated outcomes   through our   cloud advisory,   implementation   and   operations . We are seeking   an   individual with both broad and deep   cloud   implementation and migration experience with a focus on complex multi-cloud and hybrid environments   to join our   team and   lead the continued growth of our cloud practice serving   RSM   clients in a variety of industries and geographic locations.  The s uccessful candidate   will have solid working knowledge of   cloud   leading practices,   understanding of cloud architecture models,   leading vendor products   and   solutions,   cloud   technology trends , security   design   and innovation a s well as   experience   l everaging   this knowledge to   b enefit   global   organizations .   T he candidate will also   p ossess   strong leadership traits and   e xhibit   a proven   t rack record   of developing , launching and operating cloud   consulting   practices .   T his individual will ultimately be   partly   responsible for the   long-term   vision of   the cloud   practice, including the focus on developing and expanding the portfolio of solutions that are available to clients. As   a   leader within the   IC   practice,   the   success ful   candidate   is   responsible for   developing strong working relationships with clients built on understanding their businesses , the   challenges   they   face   and the outcomes they are looking to achieve.   The selected candidate   will   identify ,   pursue   and close new opportunities with both existing and new clients and will provide subject matter knowledge   to support   the efforts of the broader consulting practice .   Th is   individual   will   also   work across multiple client account teams within a wide variety of industries.   The candidate is   responsible   to   lead   multiple team engagements simultaneously, including several   threads   of   complex implementation and migration engagements .   In addition, this individual will   be responsible for   leading a global team of cloud specialists, developing   go to market   solutions , working with industry leading cloud providers and technology vendors,   and   championing the   cloud practice throughout the Firm. Successful candidates   typically have   10+   years of experience in the following   areas : • Confidently speaking with knowledgeable clients on the topic of cloud strategy, architecture, workload migration   planning   and common security practices such as landing zones • Acting as trusted advisor to senior technology leaders on cloud engineering activities • Identifying   and building cloud - based solutions to drive growth in project-based and managed services • Develop ing   cloud strategy for clients that   include   cloud value framework, multi-cloud strategy, and cloud program office to drive cloud transformation. • Develop ing   application rationalization approaches to create cloud migration roadmap○ • Designing, architecting,   implementing   and supporting simple to complex enterprise cloud solutions for a variety of business use cases and requirements. Guiding and mentoring clients through the entire process • Provi ding   principal engineering support to various teams throughout   a client’s   digital transformation   to   a cloud native organization. • Spearhead ing   strategic cost optimization initiatives, achieving multi- million dollar   savings through infrastructure cleanups,   license   negotiations   and dynamic scaling. • Understanding common cloud deployment models (private, public, hybrid) including platform types (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS) • Executing solution delivery engagements for both small and large cloud environments • Eminence building   in the cloud industry   through frequent publishing and speaking on relevant topics • Managing relationships with major cloud platform providers – AWS, Azure, GCP – including working with partner representatives,   maintaining   executive level   relationships   and   cultivating sales channels • Recruiting top cloud talent through your network and eminence activities Required Qualifications: • Bachelor's d egree or graduate degree OR   1 0 +   years of related work experience • Hig h   p roficiency   with   popular c loud   technologies (A WS, GCP, A zure) • High   p roficiency   with   the tools and techniques for securing multi-cloud and hybrid environments • Experience   w ith private, public and hybrid c loud deployments • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally • Ability to interact effectively with internal and external resources at all organizational levels • Excellent project management, organization, and follow-up skills • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Must be a team player; able to work in virtual teams and independently • Willingness and ability to travel   globally • Strong financial and business acumen, and ability to speak about technology in the language of business • Curiosity about business and technology ; motivated with a desire to learn • Strong Knowledge of one of the following industries would be   advantageous : • Financial Services and Insurance • Consumer Products • Technology • Industrials Technical Experience Cloud Platform Expertise D eep hands-on experience with one or more of the major   hyperscalers   (AWS, Azure,   GCP )   including core services like   compute , storage,   networking   and managed services. Able to   articulate cloud strategy   and   understand existing client architectures and propose new or   improve d   solutions   across platforms. This includes   demonstrable   understanding of   additional   platform specific capabilities and nuances, pricing   models   and limitations. Infrastructure and Architecture Strong foundation with on-premises infrastructure, virtualization   (   VMWare , Hyper-V) , networking protocols, storage architectures and data center strategy and operations. Understanding of   hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity patterns. Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templates or CloudFormation. Application Modernization and Migration Stro ng understanding of   cloud-native,   modern   and legacy application portfolios and   experience   with   migration strategies. Understanding of   standard application patterns and   the use of   containers (Docker, Kubernetes ) , microservices, serverless and API management. Experience with migration tool i ng and   execu tion   methodologies (7Rs framework). Security & Compliance Knowledge of   cloud security frameworks, ident it y and access management, network security , data   encryption   and compliance requirements. Understanding of zer o -trust architectures,   security posture   management   and regulatory requirements. Automation and   DevSecOps Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines, configuration management,   observability   and   DevSecOps   practices. At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Compensation Range: $134,000 - $269,000 Individuals  selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
