The position is located within the Aviation Weather Center (AWC), in the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP), National Weather Service (NWS) whose mission is to build a Weather-Ready Nation by providing better information for better decisions to save lives and livelihoods, supporting the broader strategic goals of the Department and NOAA.
