Description
Role Purpose: Lead the management, maintenance, and readiness of all physical assets and site infrastructure at this heritage and cultural progamme ensuring facilities, utilities, and environments are fully prepared to support cultural programming, event operations, and visitor experience in a safe, efficient, and sustainable manner. Key Responsibilities: Asset & Facilities Management: · Lead asset and facilities management serving as the in-house subject matter expert on facilities management and engineering-related service delivery · Oversee integrated hard and soft FM services, including performance reviews, service standards, and operational readiness across assigned assets · Manage all aspects of FM contract governance, ensuring service providers deliver against contractual obligations, quality standards, and operational requirements · Provide engineering oversight to ensure the technical maintainability, operability, and long-term readiness of assets within scope, including assets operated by third parties or nominated operators · Support the design and phased mobilization of facilities engineering services, including ramp-up and interim operating arrangements through to steady-state operations · Ensure facilities management strategies support future property and asset operations in line with site objectives, operational needs, and long-term asset performance Maintenance & Technical Services: · Develop and implement maintenance and technical service strategies that support property governance, asset standards, compliance, auditing, and long-term lifecycle performance · Oversee technical systems including MEP, utilities, building systems, and technology infrastructure to ensure maintainability, operability, and service continuity · Support asset maintainability and operability through design and build phases, including technical review, handover, testing, commissioning, and certification readiness · Monitor operator and asset performance, identify enhancement initiatives, and support asset lifecycle planning to maximize operational efficiency and return on investment · Lead or support the procurement and oversight of technical and specialized service providers in line with operational, compliance, and asset requirements · Contribute to budgeting, financial management, and CAPEX planning by preparing technical input, P&L summaries, and recommendations for major expenditure · Support service setup, interim management, and operation of property assets under direct management or through nominated third-party operators · Provide input to monthly, quarterly, and annual internal performance reports for leadership, covering asset condition, compliance, service performance, and improvement priorities Utilities & Infrastructure Management: · Ensure reliable and efficient provision of utilities including power, water, waste management, and telecommunications · Plan and coordinate infrastructure requirements to support programming, commercial activities, and event operations · Manage temporary utilities and infrastructure requirements in coordination with Operations and Event Delivery · Monitor capacity and ensure inf
