Morrison Center is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP), to be based in Wells, Maine Morrison Center is hiring an additional   Part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP), 24 Hours a week, Tuesday - Friday: 9am - 3pm.    The DSP must be willing to transport clients out into the community, provide personal care, complete daily documentation, and have a good understanding of what community supports is.  DSP staffer to support the clients in maintaining, obtaining, and managing their goals. Benefits of the Job: • Pay: $21/hour • 403(B) retirement plan with company contributions • 18 hours a week • Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8am – 2pm. • Working in South Berwick Requirements of the Direct Support Professional: • HS Diploma or GED Required • DSP Certification preferred but will train the right candidate • CPR/First Aid Certification • Safety training such as Mandt, Safety Care, etc. • Prior experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities • Valid Maine Driver’s license required and a clean driving record • Experienced with transfers in and out of wheelchair, using a lift, and is comfortable working in someone’s private home with the Shared Living DSP who resides there as well.
