Direct Care DSP | Life Skills Caregiver | Washington Co About Empowered Services Empowered Services provides   one-on-one in-home and community-based support  for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our focus is to hire and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to help people build independence, maintain routines, and stay connected to their communities in meaningful ways. Role Overview We are hiring an entry-level   Direct Support Professional (DSP)  to provide consistent, structured care for individuals of all ages in the Yamhill County area. (No prior DSP experience required – paid training provided.) This role centers around: • Supporting daily routines and household structure • Assisting with community-based activities and errands • Encouraging independence while maintaining clear expectations • Behavioral support • Emotional regulation • Crisis support This is a strong fit for someone who is   consistent, patient, and confident maintaining boundaries in a supportive way .
