Direct Response Copywriter/Creative Strategist Salary: £45,000 to £60,000 Base (dependent on experience) Role: Creating compelling copy for our performance video on and developing creative strategies to ensure we exceed our Meta new customer acquisition targets. Core Job Responsibilities
Crafting high-converting, direct response copy primarily for our meta video ads
Developing creative strategies and concepts for our video ad campaigns based on performance data and customer insights
Creating brand new angles/messaging styles based on customer pain points and language to speak directly to our target audience (women 35+)
Iterating successful copy at scale to produce dozens of hook, body & call-to-action variations of winning ad creatives
Analyzing performance data to identify winning creative patterns and optimize copy based on CPA and volume metrics
Briefing creative concepts to video editors and UGC creators to bring your copy and strategies to life
Additional Functions
Act as a creative thought leader within the Growth team, providing strategic insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Identify opportunities to expand Elavate's reach through new creative formats, messaging angles, and audience segments
Build and maintain a library of high-performing creative assets and copy frameworks to streamline production processes
Collaborate with influencer marketing to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
Opportunity to build and lead a creative team as the company scales

Achieve set CPA & Volume targets
Efficient delivery of creative strategies and copy at scale that meet or exceed our advertising goals
Improve key performance metrics including click-through rates, conversion rates, and overall ROAS
Core Skills
Exceptional Copywriting Skills, particularly in "direct response" style for performance marketing
Creative Strategy Development: Ability to develop winning ad concepts and creative directions based on data insights
Marketing Psychology: Deep understanding of what motivates purchase behavior, especially for health/wellness products
AI-Powered Creativity: Expert proficiency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to generate hooks, ad copy ideas, and iterate concepts at scale
Data-Driven Approach: You analyze reports, analytics and dashboards to guide creative decisions and copy iterations
Visual Storytelling: Creative mind to brief visual hook ideas and video editing styles that grab attention
Qualifications
1+ Years Experience writing high-converting copy and developing creative strategies for health/supplement D2C brands or e-commerce companies spending heavily on Meta ads
Proven track record of creating copy and creative concepts for video ad campaigns, for brands spending over £50k/Month on Paid Social advertising and hitting acquisition/revenue targets
Strong understanding of Meta advertising platforms and creative best practices for performance marketing
Experience with creative strategy development - ability to identify winning patterns and scale successful concepts
Analytical mindset with a track record of using performance data to inform and optimize creative decisions
AI tool proficiency - demonstrated experience using AI to enhance creative productivity and generate concepts at scale
Compensation & Perks Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 (dependent on experience) + Performance Bonus (Up to 50%)
