Job Overview We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Digital Trust and Safety Specialist with Greek to join our client's dynamic social media operations team, based on-site in Sofia, Bulgaria. Key Responsibilities Review and moderate user-generated content on social media platforms in Greek, ensuring strict compliance with community guidelines and platform policies. Identify, investigate, and take appropriate action on content involving misinformation, hate speech, harassment, graphic material, and other policy violations within the social media ecosystem. Assess and escalate complex or high-risk trust and safety cases to senior teams in a timely and accurate manner. Monitor emerging trends and threats on social media platforms, providing proactive feedback to help shape content moderation strategies. Collaborate cross-functionally with quality assurance, policy, and operations teams to ensure consistent enforcement of digital trust and safety standards. Maintain accurate documentation and detailed case records in internal case management systems, contributing to ongoing platform safety reporting. Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with evolving social media platform policies, cultural context, and regulatory requirements relevant to the Greek-speaking market. Provide constructive insights regarding user behavior patterns and content trends within Greek-language social media communities to support continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements Native or fluent Greek language skills (both spoken and written) are essential for this role. Valid EU passport is mandatory. A good working knowledge of English to communicate effectively within an international team environment. Prior experience in content moderation, trust and safety, digital compliance, or a related field within the social media or tech industry is highly advantageous. Strong critical thinking skills, sound judgement, and a high level of personal resilience when reviewing sensitive or disturbing content. Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage a high-volume workload accurately and efficiently.
