Description
Brief Overview
This bricks and mortar high-end retailer has had incredible success building their e-commerce site, and they are now looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Assistant to support their Web Manager. If you like your brands, this is a role you definitely won’t want to miss.
The role:
We first worked with this fabulous small business eight years ago, helping them recruit a marketing assistant to bring their digital expertise inhouse from an agency. That person is still there, and they’ve grown their offering considerably! This role will be to support that person and is a broad marketing role. You will manage a number of commercial social media accounts, assisting in creating engaging social media content which could include captions, images, videos, stories or reel, as well as content scheduling across platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and LinkedIn and maintaining a content calendar.
You’ll also assist with the execution of promotions and product launches along with those social media campaigns and you’ll be looking at the analytics, working out what has worked and what could be done better. You’ll create interesting blog articles and improve SEO content on the website as well as assisting the Web Manager in identifying areas of improvement for the website.
You’ll likely have skills with photography and videography, in order to assist with product photography to add to the website – you might even be confident enough to be the other side of the camera when it comes to vlogs or other social media, though this isn’t a pre-requisite for the role.
What we’re looking for:
This is very much an entry level role, and would suit someone who has gained some commercial experience post degree, or maybe has finished a digital marketing apprenticeship. You’re going to be able to demonstrate commercial experience of social media, marketing or digital content creation as well as knowledge of scheduling tools and basic analytical tools. You’ll have strong written skills and you’ll be creative, organised and proactive.
You’ll have a real interest in luxury brands, and will be keen to work within a retail/ecommerce environment.
What’s on Offer?
This is an opportunity to really learn and grow with a retailer which works with incredible brands. They’ll help you build on the experience you already have and allow you to take the first step on the ladder on a successful career. The role will be based in the office, 5 days per week and salary will be c£25,000.
