Avelios is a healthcare software company building a platform to digitize and optimize hospital workflows. We are seeking a DevOps Engineering Lead to join the infrastructure team, taking ownership of deploying and operating software across cloud and clinical environments while leading and developing the DevOps function. What You'll Do • Lead and develop the DevOps team, including mentoring, hiring, and establishing best practices • Own the infrastructure strategy across cloud and on-premise clinical environments • Design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available systems • Drive CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code adoption across the organization • Establish and improve observability, incident response, and fault tolerance practices • Ensure compliance, security, and reliability in clinical environments What You Need • Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience • Strong DevOps or infrastructure experience in scalable or production-critical systems • Experience leading or mentoring DevOps teams with ability to guide and grow engineers • Deep expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Linux environments • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible • Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and logging systems • Fluent English Nice to Have • German language proficiency Virtual stock option package (VSOP), monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, full coverage of Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or subsidized Wellpass membership, bike leasing program, Corporate Benefits discounts
