A technology company established in 2004 that provides digital entertainment platforms is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to support and improve production and development infrastructure serving 15+ development teams managing 100+ products and billions of hits daily across multiple datacenters and cloud environments. What You'll Do • Support and improve hybrid production infrastructure environments across multiple datacenters for 15+ development teams handling 100+ products and 10K+ domains with billions of daily hits • Help development teams solve complex technical problems across multiple stacks and environments • Architect and plan improvements to multi-datacenter development environments and design infrastructure decisions including new technology research and prototyping • Advocate for and assist development teams in migrating services to automated and elastic infrastructures using Cloud, Kubernetes, and Serverless technologies • Promote and implement CI/CD strategies, Infrastructure as Code practices, and mentor junior DevOps engineers in best practices • Develop and improve critical cloud-based shared services, document processes, monitor performance metrics, and manage high-availability database clusters and cache systems What You Need • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar DevOps or Systems Administrator role working with Linux environments • Experience with at least one of the three major cloud providers with understanding of scalability patterns for high-traffic infrastructure • Kubernetes experience and familiarity with provisioning servers, virtual machines, and services using VMware or equivalent • Strong command-line skills, scripting capability, and ability to configure applications such as web servers and load balancers • Experience managing highly available database clusters and cache systems with good understanding of networking, DNS, HTTPS, WAF, and web hosting infrastructure • Proficiency in configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, continuous integration/continuous delivery best practices, and debugging capability • Python coding ability, ability to help developers debug complex issues, and strong communication and time management skills Nice to Have • Advanced experience with Elasticsearch and Percona Server for MySQL • Experience managing GitLab server instances and deploying applications on Kubernetes across all major cloud providers • Natural leadership ability and strong context-switching capabilities
